Wheels day

Hi blogging world,

on Monday this week we had a wheels day. I if you are wondering what a wheels day is when you bring wheels  like a scooter or a bike and you get to ride it at school.We where in our classes and then we had to be put in little groups. In Te Waka Ako we where put into different groups.There where 3 different events running in each block in the morning we had swimming,the slide and slide and watching. Swimming was where we got to swim in our school pool and it was really fun because I got to swim with my friend play different games in there with different people. The slip and slide was a water slide which was really fun because I got to go down with my friend which was amazing and fun and that I would like to do again. There was also watching where we got to chill and watch the swimmers and slide people because it was really fun because was where we got to do want ever we wanted to well not what ever but we got to chill in the sun.In the middle there was 3 games running. The first game we played was  capture the flag which was really fun. There was also t-ball. Then the last one was the chill space which was my favourite event because we got to chill and there was also things from the gala day where got to buy somethings. Then  we got to play on our. But I didn't bring my wheels s I played with the trolley. Here is a little slide of some photo from the day.

 

                           

Something that was really fun and cool about the wheels day was that there where different and things on which was really fun. I also liked it because we didn't have to learn anything but we got to play and swim and be free chill out. But the best part of it all of it all was that we didn't just get to ride our wheels but we got swim,play games and chill out before the year ends. Netball

Hi blogging world,

Now that netball is over I am sad but I am still happy and proud of how I played. I really loved playing netball with my friends and meeting new friends and people there at netball.  I played for school which was Waikowhai Primary School. We where in pool A for the tournament. I was really proud of me and the girls for coming second in the tournament and I would just like to say thank you to Mr Ross and Nga(Shiya's Aunty our ref) and Mrs Jones. I won all of our games except 2 which we lost and 1 we had a draw. We even got to go to zones for netball. We  had a B team and a A team. Something that was really weird was that both teams won which means that the b team won in pool B and the A team won in Pool A. For zones in final for the B team we vs Hasley drive and we won by 1 point and for The A team they vs three kings and they also won by 1 point. Well after all of that we had our own netball prize giving at school which was really fun because everyone came just for us girls. Well here are some photo's from netball.

Something I really liked how netball was that it was fun and we had a lot of suppose every single time we had a netball game and that all girls had fun and tried there best. I am really sad that netball it over because it was really fun and I got to see my friends every single Saturday. I well always remember my first netball game where struggled because it was our first game every but then on our last game it felt like I had tried my best and that we all did try our best. The Gala Day!!!

Hi blogging world,

this term our school had a gala day. We had about a few weeks ago on Saturday the 25 of November. We made a thinking hat slideshow which was about what we thought about the gala day. I felt really sad that I didn't get to go to the gala day but I had to write about what I thought about the practises of the cultural groups for the gala day. If you don't know what I am talking about the thinking hat slideshow it's about the gala day. It had different colours of hats which is about different types of stuff. So the red hat is about feelings like what you feel about it and blue is like what you thought overall about it. So there are more colours but they are all about different things. Well here is my gala day thinking hat slideshow. 

                     

 Overall what I thought about this was that making this slideshow and writing about is was hard work because I didn't come to the gala day. So what I had to do is like change up the question a little bit so say if it was like What did I think about the gala day I had to change it to what did I think about the practises for the cultural groups.  But some the the hats was really easy to do because I knew what I was going to write about. My favourite slide was the red hat because that one was one of the ones that I didn't struggle on. Inquiry-Paper

Hello blogging world,
At the start of the year we learned that there was going to be a gala day which was so cool. If you are wondering what a gala day is it is a where there are stalls and performance and food. The money we make on the gala day goes to making the the juniors play ground. If you are wondering what our class is doing well we are making paper. So we have been busy making paper for the past few terms like term 3 and 4. For term 2 and 1 we have been planing how and what we are going to make with the  paper.
If you are wondering why we are making recycle paper it's because there are way to many trees getting cut down just for making paper well if you didn't now paper is made out of trees. So with out the trees we would have no oxygen.Also we are making paper because it is Sustainable and recycle. We are making cards like Christmas cards and Birthday cards. If you where wondering how to make it you just need ripped up paper and a mesh and a blender and a container. If you are wondering is it is related to sustainability well it's because we are not cutting down trees but we are reusing the paper to make better paper. It has changed my thinking of how we need to stop making paper out of trees but we need to now make recyclable paper 

So what I learned from making paper was that is was easy to make and that we can use to to make anything and so now we can stop cutting down trees and we can just start making paper.I think that this was hard because we have to try to make a lot more paper because right now we would have 25 or 30 dollars. It was also hard making paper and the cards for the paper and writing  this blog thinking of what to write and why we are even making paper. Well leave a comment down below ask any questions. Novel study-Margaret

Hey blogging world,        For the past few weeks In Te Waka Ako. We where working on a book review.  If you are wondering what a novel study(another way it is call) is well it is a slide which about the book we read there where different slide about different things some of them where a plot which is a story line and character depression  which means where you describe the main character or a minor character. I had a option between  two books to read but I choose to read The tooth.  The tooth was about a little boy and his friend on hunt to find a fossil and dinosaur fossil.  Here is the slide of it. 

What I thought about this book was that is was a nice book that I would like to read again and again and would like to read a more parts of it like if there was a part 2 or the tooth I would  read all it. The hard part the this novel study was finishing it and doing different parts of it and reading the book. The easy part with this novel study was that when I was straggling  I always had a solution to fix it and that I wrote a lot and I new how the story went. Well thanking for coming and having a look at my blog why don't you go have a look at my other blog post. netball prize giving

    Hello blogging world

   This week we had netball prize giving on Wednesday the 27th. It started at 6:00. We had our own netball prize giving which there was a lot of awards. My Favourite part of that prize giving was when we got to eat the food was yum. The tables had lollies and popcorn and chips. Then we had some pizza which was yum. Then we got a crack on with prizes. There was the year 6 and year 5 of the year and the most improved player. I my least favourite part of that day was when we had to leave the prize giving was so short that I was sad because we had to leave. But took a lot of photo's and we a least we go awards. I got 2 awards which was for Saturday netball and Zones netball. We also got pins from the the other prize giving which Auckland netball hosted. But we had our own prize giving with our own awards and food. Here's some photo's down below

I thought for netball it was fun and I tried my best and did my best for the team. It was amazing netball that I wish that the season didn't end I with that we could keep on doing netball because Saturday netball was fun and I got to play with my friends and see my friends in the weekends but I never new that we could come because I now I was doing it for fun and it was experiments for all of the girls.
